What We Do
We are a network of public health researchers, practitioners and citizen scientists who collaborate to address real world challenges that impact our communities’ resilience to disasters and the acute impacts of climate change.
CEER drives evidence-based public health policy and practice that supports strong, healthy, and resilient communities.
We solve real problems that impact real communities through collaboration that leverages the unique and valuable experience, expertise, networks and perspectives of practitioners and academics.
We work together from start to finish. We collaboratively identify practical issues that can be addressed through research; design and implement research projects; implement innovative, evidence-based practical solutions; and evaluate how those solutions enhance community resilience.
We train the next generation of “Pracademics” who are able to work across the academic-practice divide to integrate science into public health practice.
